The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV may not have made its way over here to the United States yet, but it’s already enjoying some great sales success over in Europe. Now, a new plug-in hybrid crossover is on its way to America. The new, as-yet-unnamed concept will make its first appearance at the Geneva Motor Show, showing off the future of the Mitsubishi brand, in terms of both design and performance.
We don’t really know much about the planned Mitsubishi hybrid crossover concept, but we’ve gotten a couple teaser images of it, plus we know it will be a plug-in vehicle. Mitsubishi will thus continue to push deeper into the PHEV territory, a segment that the brand obviously finds to be the wave of the future. It looks like the new concept owes some of its roots and design to the XR-PHEV, which is just fine with us.
The Outlander PHEV, for its part, will also be making its way over to the United States pretty soon. Right now, we expect it to arrive on our shores by the second quarter of 2016, and then we’ll get to share the plug-in goodness with you. Come see us at Biggers Mitsubishi to learn more today.
