Final Details for the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition

2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is no more. Long live the Final Edition.

Mitsubishi has unveiled the final details of the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition—the last Evo the automaker will produce after 10 generations of performance excellence.

After launching the Evo Final Edition X in Japan earlier this year, it’s now our turn to say our goodbyes. The car is based on the GSR trim and gets a slight power bump up to 303 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque, though most of its performance upgrades are not engine related.

To make its handling even more exciting, Mitsu equipped the Evo Final Edition with Bilstein shocks, Eibach springs, and two-piece Brembo calipers on the front axle. In other words, expect your lap times to go down.

There are also a few visual updates, like a black aluminum roof, black interior with red accent stitching, dark chrome Enkei wheels, special badging, and a unique numbered plaque for each of the 1,600 models that will be sold in the United States.

We hate to see the Evo go at Biggers Mitsubishi, but it had a great run, and the Final Edition model seems like a good way to go out with a bang.
